Laura Cantu
Laura Cantu joined the ESC-2 in the Center for Teaching and Learning in 2009, as the Education Specialist-Autism. She has worked in the area of Special Education as a Resource Teacher, Special Education Chairperson and ARD Facilitator. Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University and her teaching certification through the ESC-2, Educator Preparation and Certification Program. She holds a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She is certified in Special Education PK-12 and also has her Principal certification, all levels. She provides staff development and technical assistance to educators, parents and community members. As the Autism Contact, Laura will oversee the organization and delivery of the State Autism Conference.
